Work Study Replaced with “Prize Points”

Amidst the government shutdown, Chapman’s usual influx of blood money and pilfered relics has sadly diminished. But, while reworking The Budget, Chapman economists made a profound discovery. Student workers make way too much money, and can be paid less! Who knew?

In a golden new deal, economists have invented a new “economically friendly” pay system for the school’s most pampered employees. Panther Prize Points, or PPP.

This “Coin of the Future” (Forbes) is sure to modernize campus. Student workers will be able to convert potential pay (16 per hour) into PPP, at a rate of 1 PPP per 10 “potential pay”. Student workers, now called  “Academy Challengers,” can cash in for Silver, Gold, or Platinum Bundles. And yes, don't worry, the Gold Bundle will include 25 extra PPP on purchase. Puh-lease and thank you!

These points can be exchanged at vendors on the eve of Midnight Breakfast! Initial prizes range from plastic vampire teeth to sticky hands. But rack up a pretty penny in Panther Prize Points, and you may find yourself with a FREE ticket to the next SGA meeting, or even an iPhone charger.
